I wish I had a green thumb...

I spotted this in my grandmother's garden one morning while eating breakfast.  It is a little rough around the edges, but I think it's just gorgeous!  And I've never seen one that big in her garden before.

I wish I had a green thumb like my granny, but if I look at a plant funny, it falls over.  Ha!  My granny really loves her roses and clipping off some to make a bouquet for any visitors (so I get a lot of bouquets :)).  She gets that from her mother who I never met because she died when I was a baby, unfortunately.  But, according to granny, we would have gotten along very well especially since her mother and I share the same love for cats and animals in general.

I think I'll get out my oil paints and attempt a painting of the rose.  It's so beautiful and I'm glad it had a chance to bloom before the cold whether sunk in. :)

Hey guys!

Yes, I know it's been a while.  And instead of typing my excuses out here, I made a video a couple of weeks ago that I just got around to uploading.  Here it is, if you are interested:

Yeah, so I've been busy, but who hasn't been?  I'm going to keep up making videos no matter what. I just love to do it!  Also, I appreciate all of my subscribers new and old for your support. :)

And I'm just so excited the weather is cooling down and it's been a lot less humid outside!  It's my favorite time of the year! ^_^
