Walgreens Mini Haul/My Halloween Costume/OOTD

Hello all!  I'm sitting in a study room right now helping a classmate out with some homework that was due Monday.  Ha!  Thought I'd share a little bit of my life with you.

Yesterday, I went to Walgreens to pick up some meds and of course did some browsing around.  I was glad, though, because look at these bad boys:

I decided that these would look great with my Halloween costume (which I'll get to in just a bit).  They're from the makers of Wet n Wild cosmetics and they have a few other lash choices to choose from if these don't tickle your fancy or match your costume, rather.  They also have a selection of Halloween makeup that is very inexpensive, so go to your nearby Walgreens and check it out!

And for the rest of the things I picked up a Walgreens... Well, they're not that exciting, mostly essentials.

I needed some nail polish remover and they had a sale of 2 for $2 (or $1.29 each), so I went on ahead and bought two.  I got St. Ives Mineral Therapy body wash.  I'ver never tried it before, but it smelled good and looked very moisturizing (which is what I need)... We shall see.  And then a Sinful Colors nail polish that was on sale for $0.99 (originally $1.99)

I picked up Nirvana

I thought it'd be a nice brown color for fall (just FYI, it looks darker in person)

Now for my Halloween costume.  I sort of found out last minute that I was invited to a Halloween party, so I didn't really have much time to throw something original together.  Instead, I dug around in my closet and found this:

(Excused the curly hair... That photo was taken during my crazy perm days)
Didn't have a really good front view of the dress... :/
I love all the poofiness at the bottom! ^_^

Anyway, I purchased this Sweet Lolita dress from milanoo.com over a year ago and was going to wear it to a wedding, but never did.  I decided to be a doll... at first.  Just a plain doll, but then...

I saw Bubzbeauty's tutorial on how to do a porcelain doll that is broken and I decided that I would use the cracks/broken pieces idea for my costume.  She did a great job! And, you can also see where those ginormous lashes come into play.  Dollies seem to have those enormously long, thick lashes.  I can't wait to see how it all turns out and I'll be sure to post pics I take before the party. :)

Also, if you were wondering about that tutorial Bubzbeaty made and are interested in being a broken porcelain doll yourself, here's the link: Porcelain/Broken Doll Transformation

Moving on to OOTD!  Just something simple and quick I threw together.  Probably not worth mentioning, but why the hell not since I'm already here?

Well, loves.  I think that's it for now.  I seem to have crammed a whole lot of things into one post... By the way, this is my second time writing it because I accidentally deleted it before... Ugh... Anyway, I've got a situation to sort out so...

Later!
Peachy Sara
