I wish I had a green thumb...

I spotted this in my grandmother's garden one morning while eating breakfast.  It is a little rough around the edges, but I think it's just gorgeous!  And I've never seen one that big in her garden before.

I wish I had a green thumb like my granny, but if I look at a plant funny, it falls over.  Ha!  My granny really loves her roses and clipping off some to make a bouquet for any visitors (so I get a lot of bouquets :)).  She gets that from her mother who I never met because she died when I was a baby, unfortunately.  But, according to granny, we would have gotten along very well especially since her mother and I share the same love for cats and animals in general.

I think I'll get out my oil paints and attempt a painting of the rose.  It's so beautiful and I'm glad it had a chance to bloom before the cold whether sunk in. :)

Well, that's it for now.

Guess I can't count today...

Hey guys!

Yes, I know it's been a while.  And instead of typing my excuses out here, I made a video a couple of weeks ago that I just got around to uploading.  Here it is, if you are interested:

Yeah, so I've been busy, but who hasn't been?  I'm going to keep up making videos no matter what. I just love to do it!  Also, I appreciate all of my subscribers new and old for your support. :)

I also made an OOTD video last week that I just now got around to uploading.  I may have goofed up and put "OOTD #6" in the title on the video... Oops.  It's actually OOTD #5.  I must have forgotten how to count...  Anyway, here is the video if you are interested:

And I'm just so excited the weather is cooling down and it's been a lot less humid outside!  It's my favorite time of the year! ^_^

I'm still alive! I promise!

Hello all!

I know I've been a bit reclusive lately, especially if you watch me on YouTube or have left me a comment there.  I apologize, and I will promise I will respond to your comments (for those of you who have left one) very soon and will make another video soon.  Also, I have surpassed 100 subscribers!  I am so thankful for that!  You guys do not know how much I appreciate your support!  It means so much to me! ^_^

As for my absence lately, for one, I have been on vacation at the beach, and another reason is I just haven't been feeling like myself lately.  Everybody goes through that at some time or another.  On top of that, I recently got my birth control shot (the depo shot) and that really gets my hormones out of whack for several days, so I get all sorts of moody. Lol.

I think I'm pretty much back to normal and have been thinking a lot about making another video for you guys.  I always want to do a giveaway sometime within the next few months to show you all how much I appreciate your support!  Again, I am just so grateful to have reached 100 subscribers!  I know that may not seem like a lot to most people on YouTube, but it does to me!  That many people are watching my videos and showing support for me!  That means the world to me!  And that is why I want to do a little something special for you all. :)

In my absence, I haven't been doing anything too spectacular or exciting.  As I said, I did go to the beach with my family, and it was a lot of fun.  Also, I've been doing a lot more painting.  Going to all the little beach shops and seeing other artists' work really inspired me to get back  into creating pieces of my own.  Painting is really therapeutic for me.  I'm not very good at it, but I enjoy the heck out of it, and that's what counts! :D

I've also been birthday present hunting like crazy... at the mall, the beach, online!  That's always such a difficult task for me.  I lack all creativity when it comes to picking out the right gifts for people!  Since, it was just my best friend's birthday and my fiancĂ©'s birthday is coming up soon, I wanted to get them good gifts since they are both very special people in my life.  I found one particular gift for Elgin that I thought was a perfect gift for a guy who plays guitar... but  I won't tell you guys what it is just yet, in case he happens to be reading this post. ;)

Also, if anyone has any questions, requests, comments, concerns, etc., please do not hesitate to let me know!  I love to hear from you guys! :)

That's it for now!

Coupons! They really make a difference!

I had never really gotten into couponing.  If I saw a useful coupon in the Sunday paper, I would clip it out and use it on occasion, but I'd never been to any of the coupon websites.

My dad's girlfriend, however, uses them often.  This morning she was picking out coupons online and asking me if I used this, or if I used that and it turns out quite a few of the items she listed, I did use, or could use.  So I hopped on my computer and went to www.coupons.com and www.couponsuzy.com and found several useful coupons.

Today, while I was out running errands, I stopped by Wal-Mart to pick up a few essentials and wound up saving $6.50 using coupons!

My absolute favorite shampoo and conditioner!!!  I saved $1.50 on this combo!

In addition to the $1.50 I saved on both shampoo and conditioner, I had a coupon for $0.75 off the shampoo! ^_^

A new one for me.  I usually use the Tresemme hairspray, but since I had the coupon and absolutely looooove the shampoo and conditioner, I decided to give their hairspray a shot and the coupon saved me $1.00.

Another new one for me, but I know I'll just love it!!!  It smells SOOOO good.  I got the Jergens Crema in Hydrating Coconut Milk!  I just love the smell of coconut!  I saved $2.00 with a coupon.

And last but not least!  Rimmel Scandaleyes Show Off mascara.  I saved $1.50.

I think I may become a regular visitor of those coupon websites, as well as perusing the ads in the Sunday newspaper for coupons.  $6.50 may not seem like a lot of money, but overtime, it really does add up.  This was only one trip to the store, after all.  If you haven't tried clipping coupons, you should definitely try it out and see how much you'll save!

Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany) Look from Orphan Black

So I have fallen in love with the new series Orphan Black!  The first season just ended on the very beginning of this month.  If you haven't seen the series, you should go check it out!

One of my favorite things about the show is how Tatiana Maslany plays all the clones.  They are each different, have their own personality, some have different accents.  She plays them so well, it seems like they really are different people!  You forget each one is played by the same actress!

One of Tatiana Maslany's characters, Sarah Manning has a very punk-like, grungy style at the beginning of the series.  I really liked the look and decided to replicate it in my own way.

My attempt.

I think it's a very sexy, edgy look.  I'm thinking of perhaps uploading a video on my YouTube channel (link to the right, as always) showing what I did to achieve this look.  I'm kind of hesitant about it because I've never done a makeup video trying to replicate a look before... I feel more comfortable with the ideas that come out of my head.  Lol.  I guess it could be my own take on it.  Well, if you're reading this, let me know what you think of the look, what you think of the series, or it you'd like to see a video of this how to get this look, or all three.  Ha ha!

Well, that's it for now!

Hello, lovelies!

I guess I haven't really been keeping this thing updated, have I?  Well, I'll have you know that I got my groove back and am making videos again!  Yay!  That also means I'll be keeping my blog more updated as well.

Currently I'm uploading a video about eyebrow waxing with pre-waxed strips.  My favorite way to remove hair around the brows!  It's got a couple of hours to go (thanks to my slow internet).

Me showing off my freshly waxed brows... Kinda lame.  I know.

Also, I've gotten new glasses.  Those are the pair I wear more often and then I have another pair I wear just around the house.  Lol.  I've decided to stop wearing contact lenses because they've gotten to where they really bother my eyes, especially when I wear eye makeup (and you know I'm not going to stop wearing eye makeup!).  Glasses are better for your eyes than contacts anyway and I think it was a good decision. :)

And I just haven't been buying makeup lately.  I think I mentioned this in my previous video which was my May Favorites video.  I guess I haven't been wearing it as much since school is out, so I guess I don't feel a need to buy it.  Plus, I do have a lot of makeup that I barely touch.  Don't worry, I'll see some exciting new product or find some new shade of lipstick that I'll just have to try eventually!

Well, that's it for now.

Out for the Summer!

Hello all!  I know I have been neglecting Blogger and YouTube lately, but as I am sure I have mentioned before.  I have been going through finals week dealing with presentations and exams.  This semester is finally over though and I'll find out what my grades are this evening at 5!

So now that I'm out of school for the summer (this is the first summer in four years I have not taken summer classes), what do I plan to do?

Well, first, I'm definitely getting back into doing more art.  I recently purchased oil paints and I have been experimenting with those because I've always wanted to try oils!  I've also been working on some charcoal drawings.

I'm going to continue selling on eBay.  It's amazing how much stuff around here we don't need and its a good way to get yourself a little money.

I'm going to spend more time with my granny since I now have more time.  She really enjoys my company and I enjoy spending time with her too.  We work on puzzles and go to the park together.

I'm going to get back into an exercise routine!  I know I said that I'd do that over Spring Break and that didn't really happen, well, I have more time now and I've already started on it. Plus, I bought some more exercise clothing.  I don't know about you, but new exercise clothes somehow motivates me to want to exercise...

I'm going to study!  Yes, I said study.  I'm taking a pretty difficult load in the fall and I want to be well prepared.  I'm going to brush up on my math and physics so that I'm ready for my upper levels.  By the way, you may not hear much from me in the fall...

Finally, I want to make more YouTube videos as it is something that I really enjoy to do and will have more time on my hands for!

Well, that's it for now!  I hope everyone else has a wonderful summer and did well on their exams!

Revlon Nail Polish - 580 Eclectic

Hello once again all two of you that follow my blog or other readers who have randomly stumbled upon it!  I'm excited to try out my new nail polish that was in the haul video I uploaded today.  If you haven't seen it, it's right below ready for you to watch.  Go check it out!  I found some great bargains! :)

But back to the point of the post (which happens to be yet another post about nail polish, lol)  It's a beautiful pastel green color.  I've been really wanting to get into the pastel colors for spring.  I think those are always a spring hit and it gives me an opportunity to break away from my typical dark polish shades (not completely, though, if you saw my previous post. lol)

I will say Revlon nail polishes are definitely my favorite drugstore nail polish.  My absolute favorite has to be OPI, but that's not exactly drugstore... What I like about Revlon is that they have a HUGE selection of colors and not just the typical boring colors you're used to with most other nail polish brands.  Another drugstore nail polish that I really like and that is also really cheap is Sinful Colors.  They do have a large selection of colors and one of my favorites (Cinderella), but many of their colors I'm not all that fond of.  Anyway, if you are looking for drugstore nail polishes, I definitely recommend Revlon first and then Sinful Colors.  And if you want to go a little higher end, definitely go OPI.

Anyway, I love this shade of green.  I think it could pass as a dupe for OPI's Mermaid's Tears which is also another one of my absolute favorites!  Let me know if you like the color.

In LOVE with Anti-Bleak!

Every time I get a pedicure...  I fall in love with a color and have to get a bottle of my own.  Last time it was OPI's Jade is the New Black, this time it's OPI's Anti-Bleak:

It's a beautiful dark, purply magenta color.

It may look a little chipped and that's because it's been almost a week since I got the pedi. I just love OPI's range of colors!  I know what color I'll be purchasing next. :)

What is your favorite OPI color or if you don't have a favorite OPI shade, what brand and color is your favorite?  Please leave an answer in the comments!

Also, I just uploaded a video on my YouTube channel (link to the right of this post somewhere), so go check it out if you haven't.  It's not too exciting.  It's a haul video, but I did find some good bargains! ^_^  Hopefully, when finals are over next week, I'll be able to get back into making more videos. :)

Well, I suppose that's it for now.  I hope you all have a terrific day and if you are a student studying for finals or just having a stressful time in general whether it be with a career, family, etc., just breathe and know it will soon be over with or get better!  Take it easy and don't forget to treat yourself because you work hard!  Show your body and mind that you appreciate the hard work.  Treat yourself to a pedi, spa day, movie, dessert, yoga, exercise, hot bath, good book, whatever you enjoy that helps you de-stress and unwind!

Lolita-esque Look Today

So, my first class was canceled this morning and since I had more time, I decided to curl my hair with my straightener and do a cute side ponytail.  Kind of reminds me of the way the women wear their hair in westerns.  I decided to wear my sheer, ruffle peach shirt.  The end result is a Lolita-esque look which I love!  If anyone would like to see how I achieved this hair style, please let me know in the comments and I will happily make a YouTube video showing you how I did it!

Spring Break!!!/Spring Break Resolutions.../Things to do on Spring Break if you're not going anywhere!

Hello all!

I'm on Spring Break!  What am I doing for Spring Break, you make ask?  Well, not a damn thing.  Well, that's not completely true.  I do have homework assignments I need to work on and some items I need to put on eBay... I probably should clean the house, as well.  I'm not going on any trip, though.  I don't typically do anyway.  I would have gone and visited my fiancĂ©, but he's in England.  No fair!  I can't blame him though.  If I had the money and the opportunity to go to England, I would definitely go.  I'm glad he got to go.  I can still give him a hard time about not taking me with him though. ;)

But moving on to a brighter note, I have time off from school, which means I have more time to work on making videos!  In fact, I just uploaded one yesterday.  This was certainly a spur of the moment video.  I was just sitting on my bed and the idea came to me so I hopped right to it.  I think those spur of the moment ideas make for the best videos.  Anyway, if you have not seen it, here it is:

It's time for Spring cleaning and organizing.  I thought this would be a neat way to spice up boring, plastic drawers.  Let me know what you think if you watch the video. :)

What else am I going to do over Spring Break?  Well, I'm going to kick Diet Coke once and for all!  It's so hard to stop drinking it, but I know it's bad for me and I really need to stop.  Also, I want to get back into a workout routine.  I've become a lazy bum.

Look at me making Spring Break resolutions!  Hey, it's never too late in the year to start making positive changes in your life.  No need to wait until next January.  That's too far away anyway.

Well, that's it for now!  I hope everyone else who is in school or college enjoys their Spring Break as well!  It's a great time to unwind and de-stress!  If you're like me and you're not going to the beach or lake or where ever you like to go for Spring Break, don't be down!  You can make your Spring Break just as enjoyable:

-Go shopping.
-Get together with long lost girlfriends from your hometown.
-Spend time with relatives.
-Give yourself a spa day or spa week even!  Pamper yourself with relaxing baths, face masks, hair masks, manis, pedis!
-If you have the money, splurge on a mani/pedi at a salon or even a massage!  A massage would be a great way to unwind after weeks of staying up late studying, projects, reports, and exams!
-If you're in need of cash, offer to babysit.  Kids have Spring Break too and they need a sitter!
-Try something new!  Have you been curious about Yoga, painting, etc.  You have a whole week to try your hand in something new!  You may just find yourself a new hobby!
-Kick a bad habit (like me).  Do you drink too much soda/diet soda?  Do you smoke?  Do you drink to much alcohol?  Use this week to focus on kicking your bad habit and turn to other healthier outlets.  With the stress of school gone, it will be easier to not turn to the things we tend to go to when we're feeling tired or stressed.
-Start a fitness routine or a new one if you're bored with your current one.  It's never too late to start getting in to shape!  Now that classes aren't getting in the way, you can figure out the best time to work out and what type of exercise you prefer like running, cycling, tennis, swimming, hiking, etc.
-Take a day trip to the beach or lake (if you live nearby one).  Try to get some girlfriends to come along.  If they're busy or gone on their one trips, you can always just take the day for yourself to catch some rays and relax by the ocean.  Remember to bring sun block!

I'm sure there are so many more activities to make your spring break a fun and productive one!  If you guys have any other suggestions or things you like to do, please list them in the comments!  I'd love to read them!

Well, this post has turned into quite a long one... I think I shall end here.  Again, I hope everyone has a good and safe spring break!

Announcement Day!

Good morning all!

So, the giveaway has officially ended, and the winner selected.  How did I select the winner in a fair way, you may ask?  Well, I googled a random name selector website, copy and pasted all of the names of the entrees (there were 25) and then let it randomly generate name.  The link to the site is below if, I don't know, for some reason you want to make sure my claims are legit.

It would appear it is a tool for the classroom, but it fulfilled what I needed it to, which is randomly select a name.  I'm so excited!  I can't tell you who the winner is just yet.  That will be in my video, but I doubt many people read my blog posts anyway.

I just want to say thanks to all of my subscribers from before and who are new.  This giveaway is an appreciation to you all and I wish I could give each and everyone of you something, but I don't quite have enough money for that.  This is all stuff I will say in the video, but I just wanted to mention it here as well.  If you don't win this go around, no sweat.  I definitely want to hold more giveaways in the future.

Keep an eye out for the announcement video tonight or early tomorrow morning (my time, which is EST, but soon to be EDT Sunday morning at 2am [don't forget to set your clocks forward!]).  I hope you all have a pleasant day!

Giveaway is OPEN!!!/Fun with Granny!

I have the video up.  I had to change the date it ends because I didn't get the video up until last night (sorry about that).  Anyway, if you haven't checked it out, please do!  You could win a MAC Fluidline Gel Liner in Blacktrack and all you have to do is put your answer to my question on the video in the comments section!

Giveaway Video

In other news (because I'm sure you're probably annoyed with me raving about the giveaway the past several days), not too much has been going on with me; however, I did have a lovely day yesterday with my granny.  I had to run some errands so I took her along and we wound up eating at the Atlanta Bread Company and shopping at Target.  She had a really good time.  She only gets out of the house on Sundays and Wednesdays because she can't drive, so I could tell she had a blast!  I had a blast too!

I have to say, I know (especially for you younger people out there around teenage years) it may seem lame to hang out with your grandparents, but it's really very rewarding!  You learn so much from them and hear interesting stories (sometimes over and over).  I know a lot of people get annoyed or impatient with elderly people especially if they have any type of disabling condition, whether physically or mentally, as in the case of my granny who has Alzheimer's.  But they are really, truly wonderful human beings with so much experience and wisdom.  My granny may not remember the name of the street she lives on today, but she can tell you the exact names of the streets she lived on growing up seventy years ago.  She loves to tell me all the stories about her youth and young adult years and just reminisce.

Elderly people may seem boring from the outside looking in, but in reality (if they aren't like the old farts that just, well, "act old" and sit around and do nothing because they think they're too old), they really want to spend time with younger people and do things.  It's like a breath of fresh air for them.  You also find that you have a lot in common with them.  Both my granny and I love to do puzzles, paint, other types of arts and crafts and play the piano.  I'm so happy for the time I get to spend with her and hate that I didn't start sooner.  But now we'll just enjoy the time we have and each other's company.

Well, that's it for now.

SO EXCITED ABOUT THE GIVEAWAY!!!

I'm just so excited about the giveaway, that I decided to go ahead and post the rules and requirements on here.  Tomorrow morning, I will film the video and upload it while I'm at school.  If you don't remember, this is for the MAC Fluidline Gel Liner.  If you want a free pot of that stuff, then here's how YOU can win one:

Giveaway Rules and Requirements

  1. Be a current subscriber... or go ahead and subscribe if you haven’t you little shenanigans (I couldn’t live with myself if I turned anyone away).
  2. Please ask parent’s permission if you are under the age of 18... Just standard protocol, you know.  Please follow.
  3. Leave a comment below answering my question I ask in the video.  That’s how you enter.  And don’t worry about how to answer it.  Answer it truthfully, answer it silly.  I don’t care.  I don’t pick the winner based on the answer.  I don’t think it seems very fair for me to judge what I think is the best answer. I will do a random drawing.  Everyone has an equal chance of winning.  Seems the fairest way to me.
  4. That’s it!  I just ask that you don’t put anything hateful or rude.  Let’s be decent human beings.  I don’ t care so much if you say something about me, but I don’t want you saying anything hateful or rude towards anyone else.  You will be disqualified if you enter anything of the sort.
  5. This giveaway is worldwide.  So, if you live on another planet or in a different solar system or galaxy, I’m sorry.  Maybe next time I’ll branch out more... but the shipping fees will just be out of this world! :P
  6. Deadline Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 12:00am EST (That’s my time zone.  Please make sure you know which one you are in. Google should will be helpful with that.).
  7. Tuesday I will use a random number generator to pick the winner, then I will check to make sure they follow the rules (Lrrr from Omnicron Persei 8, I know you don’t qualify, so don’t try to pull a fast one!) and then I will make an announcement video that day and have it uploaded that night or by Wednesday (details about exact time will be on my blog if you are so curious.)
  8. I will also contact the winner personally through YouTube message the next day after I post the video (I don’t want to spoil the surprise!).  If I do not receive a response back in 48 hours from the time I send the message, you forfeit your chance to win, and I will draw again.
  9. That’s it!  I wish good luck to you all!  Enjoy the giveaway! :D
Keep an eye out for my video tomorrow afternoon.  It should be up by then.  Also, I finally managed to upload that nail tutorial... Jeez!  Seemed like I'd never get another video uploaded.

Anyway, that's it for now, guys!

Oh, the woes of satellite internet... (WARNING: An inappropriate word may have been typed in all caps!)

Hello, once again, loves.

So, if you recall from my previous post, I said I'd have the haul video uploaded yesterday and then the nail tutorial uploaded during the night... Yeah, well, the weather was awful yesterday, and if you have satellite internet or even satellite tv, you know what bad weather does for the connection.  So, the uploading aborted again after I had been uploading for 5 hours!  Sorry, for the language, but FUCK!

Anyway, now that I have that out of my system, I've decided to upload the nail tutorial today first since it's shorter and if bad weather does creep back over this way, hopefully it will be uploaded in time.  And then I may try the other video later tonight... Sorry, for those of you who are getting tired of me not uploading anything.  It's not that I'm being lazy; it's because we don't get high speed internet in my neck of the woods.  You have two choices: dial-up or overpriced satellite internet (that isn't that fast and has a 1 gig. cap before they start throttling you to slower than dial-up speeds.  Yes, you read correctly: slower than dial-up speeds.  I've actually tested that more than once.)  So, yeah... Maybe you can now understand my frustrations.

As for me now, it's Sunday and I'm just kind of chilling and also trying to get these videos up since there has been a break in the bad weather (though supposedly it's supposed to be back tomorrow), but for now it's crystal clear out and quite hot for February.  I've also got some school-work and laundry and such, but that can wait until later... (I'm such a procrastinator).

Tomorrow night, I plan to make the video about the Mac Fluidline Gel Liner give away.  I'm so excited about it! :)  Hopefully, if the weather is okay, I'll get it uploaded sometime that night as well.  So expect it maybe tomorrow night or Tuesday morning.  Again, all the info will be in the video, but I suppose I will make a post with it all written out, as well.  Don't worry, I'm not going to make you all jump through hoops like some YouTubers do: subscribe to this, follow me on here and here, subscribe to these three other channels... I don't know about you, but that seems to me like buying subscribers and followers, etc.  I'll give you a spoiler.  All you have to do is be subscribed to my peachsara channel (this is an appreciation for subscribers after all).  That's it.  Oh, and you have to have parent's permission if you are 18 or older, but that's just standard protocol.  I'll probably ask a question and just answer in the comments and that's how you enter.  You can answer anything you want.  I'm not picking my favorite answer or anything like that.  It's not really fair for me to judge who has a better idea than someone else.  That just doesn't seem right.  It will be a random drawing.  But, I do intend to read all the answers anyway.  I love receiving comments and responding.  I try to respond to everyone I get.  Anyway, I think I've gone a little beyond just a little spoiler...

So, yes, you know what to expect over the next few days, so please stay tuned to my YouTube channel(s).

Well, I suppose that's it for now.  I probably should get to the little things I need to do here and there.  I hope everyone has a wonderful, relaxing, care-free Sunday!

More Vids! ^_^

Hey guys!

So, as promised, I did make a haul video; however, I did not get it uploaded by the time I said I would. I tried, but it somehow aborted, which is unfortunate because my internet is sooooo slow.  It takes several hours to upload a 10 minute video!!!  Anyway, I'm currently re-uploading that video today (I know I've had since Monday, but I just haven't had the patience).

Also, I filmed a tutorial today.  I won't go into detail, but here is a picture of the finished product:

I intend to have the video uploading while I sleep tonight since my internet is slower than Christmas!  Can you believe it's 2013 and there still isn't high speed internet where I live?!  I'm not going to tell you exactly where I live, but it's in the southeastern United States. Ugh...  They keep saying anytime now it will be available... Right...

Sorry, about the rant.  Anyway, I'm happy that I've got a couple of more videos made and hopefully, I will stay with that.  If anyone has any questions, comments and/or requests, please feel free to let me know either here in the comments, or on YouTube via comment or message.  I'll get back with you as soon as I can...  Which, won't be long because I'm constantly checking my E-mail.

Other than that, today's been a pretty boring, icky day outside.  Just thought I'd give a little update, and not be such a stranger to my blog as I have become lately.

Also, a side note:  I just remembered that I posted in my blog about going ahead and doing a the Mac Fluidline Gel Liner giveaway.  If you haven't read, just scroll down.  I still intend to do that (so sorry I forgot!!!).  Definitely, definitely expect a video in the upcoming week discussing contest details, etc.  And please participate!  Your chances of winning will be great since I only have a handful of subscribers. I appreciate you all for joining me on my YouTube journey, hence the reason for my giveaway.  I just want to say thanks to you guys.  :)

Guys, I'm so sorry I've been ignoring my channel and my blog lately!  I've just been so busy!  Trust me, though, I definitely want to get active with it again.  It's such a great experience for me and I hope those of you who watch me and read my blog (most of you imaginary) enjoy what I have to show and say.

I thought about uploading an update video... again, but then I realized people probably get tired of me going on and on about why I'm gone and that if they really do care enough, they'll just read my blog.  I do, however, intend to upload a HUGE haul video tomorrow... I've accumulated quite a lot of nice goodies for great deals.

First off, I've been quite consumed with school.  That's probably a given.  I've also taken up a new duty which involves giving my granny her medicine and spending a couple of hours with her 4-5 nights a week.  I enjoy it very much.  We work on puzzles, but that does take away from some of my free time to make videos and blog posts.  But, I believe the time I spend with my granny is more than worth it.  I hate that it took me this long to realize that, but you can't change the past and I'm just going to enjoy every little bit of time she has left with her.  :)

Another thing that has been preoccupying me is eBay.  No, not because I'm buying loads of stuff.  I'm selling loads of stuff.  If you recall (those of you who have read my blog in the past), my mom passed away last May and we are now getting around to getting rid of her stuff that doesn't have any sentimental value to us.  Basically, just junk and glassware and whatnot.  Nothing too exciting.  I didn't think it would take up so much time.  But I listed so many items and naive me didn't think they would sell... Yeah, they sold, so I've been at the post office 7 times over the course of the past 2 weeks.  They should know my name by now.  Ha!

Other than schoolwork, granny time and eBay, I've just been trying stay calm and motivated.  I've been doing all right.  I slip here and there, of course, but we all do.

Oh, and if you're wondering where I am...

I'm tucked away in my safe little corner in the library on campus waiting for my Calculus III class at 2pm.  Believe it or not, I did all my homework yesterday, so I had nothing to do, but goof off today.

Speaking of yesterday and basically the whole weekend, MY FIANCE CAME TO VISIT!!!  We had such a wonderful time.  Saturday (since he couldn't take me on a Valentine's Day date because he was up north), we saw Warm Bodies (awesome movie, by the way) and ate at a very nice restaurant.  I may have had a little much to drink.  Ha ha!  I was quite tipsy.  But it was such a wonderful time.  He is such a gentleman!  I love him so much and I can't wait for us to get married! ^_^

Sadly, I won't see him again until April because he is going to England soon, but I wish him the best and can't wait until then. :)

Well, I suppose that's it for now guys... Class will be starting soon and I should probably start heading that way.  So, what to take away from this long-ass post: I've been busy, yes, but I'm going to get back to making videos and blogging because it's something I really enjoy to do, so stay tuned on my YouTube channel and stay... er... alert, I suppose on Blogspot.

Mac Fluidline Gel Liner Giveaway Update!

So, if you are subscribed to me and remember that video I made way back in like October (I think?) about how I accidentally got sent two of the Mac Fluidline Gel Liners and I was going to do a giveaway when I reached 100 subscribers?  No?  I barely remember it too.  I'm kidding.  I intended to stay true to my word, but thinking about it lately, I realized 100 is just a number and a number I may not even reach any time in the near future, so I was thinking about just going ahead and doing the giveaway sometime soon as an appreciation for my current subscribers.

So, you will see a video about it sometime within the next month or so with details about how to enter and all that jazz.  Well, that's it for now, loves.

I'm back! Again! For the third time!

Hello all!

I feel bad about neglecting my blog yet again, but I'm back baby!  I also have a couple of things to inform you of... well, really just one thing and it's this:

I have created another channel for vlogging, my cats, and things that happen in my personal life.  Link below, if you are interested:

peachsaraadventures Channel

I decided to have a separate channel for that to post vides of my "adventures" or little vacations and of random things like my cats on nip or something fun in the moment happening (you know what I'm talking about, those things you wish you had a camera to catch when you see them.  I always carry a camera with me, so I won't miss anything!).  I thought a separate channel would be better since those type of videos don't really pertain to my original channel (link to the left of this post somewhere if you haven't checked it out).  Anywho, if you are interested in either channel, please check them out and subscribe.

On my "vlog channel" (that's what we'll call it), I am about to upload a video of bits and pieces of my long weekend visiting my fiancĂ©.  I'm just waiting to ask permission of a friend, because he is in that video and I don't want to just put him up on YouTube without his permission.  More detailed explanations are in the video I put on my main channel, which is also shown below:

Also, I intended to keep up my blog.  No neglecting if for two years like I did before.  Also, I'm considering using my twitter account.  See, I have one, but I never use it.  I guess I'm kind of out of the loop. Ha!  But, I figured that would be an easier, faster way to follow me.  Anyway, I'll let you know if that happens.  I'm very new to twitter, so I'm not sure of all the ins and outs... How pathetic is that?  I do have Facebook, so I'm not completely out of the loop; however it's personal and only for friends.  Maybe, sometime down the line, I'll get a Facebook Page.  We'll see.

Anyway, that is it for now, guys.  I'm just sitting on campus killing time until my Calculus III class.  That's one thing that sucks about living 30 minutes away.  You can't really just go home and chill for a few hours.  It's a waste of gas, really... Anyway, I'll stop rambling and let you all get back to your lives.

It's been a while!

Hey guys!

I know it's been weeks.  I've been celebrating holidays, spending time with family and friends, and starting back to classes.  I had a great holiday season and hated to see it end, but I was excited about school starting back. :D

I hope everyone else had an awesome time this holiday season and are pumped for the new year!  Let's make 2013 great!  This week is my first week back to classes and it's been a bit tiring, I'll admit, but I definitely plan on filming more videos around my busy schedule.  I plan to have one up this weekend. :)

Anyway, I guess that's it for now!  If anyone has any questions or requests, please send them my way either in the comments section or on my YouTube channel.
